The key word here is “adaptation”. Now, all massages are customized, not just massage
for people with cancer. A strong assessment provides information that supports a
design of an individualized approach specific to the patient’s needs at any given
time, including appropriate massage pressure, areas to be massaged and areas to avoid
so active tumor sites are not disturbed. The approaches consider the: staging, treatments,
and the effects on the body/mind/spirit while having:
